Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita Briem is a Icelandic actress. Her best-known work is the role of Jane Seymour, the young woman who is to become the third Queen of Henry VIII on the television drama The Tudors. The acting career of Briem began with the National Theater Iceland when she was 9 years old. When she was a young actress she performed in many plays broadcast on radio and television in her native Iceland. At 16 Briem was transferred to London to take part in one of the productions for the theatre of the show Lenin In Love on The New End Theater. Briem went to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for three years, earning the diploma of the field of drama. When she was at RADA the actor performed in many plays like The Cherry Garden of Anton Chekhov and Bernarda Alba's House by Federico Garcia Lorca.
